In order to secure my services for your date, I ask for a 50% non-refundable booking fee to be paid no later than 7 days after your initial enquiry and quotation, which can be paid in cash, bank transfer or PayPal. If no payment is received within this 7 days, your date will be released and available for booking by other clients. The remaining balance is to be paid on the date of booking or wedding. Last minute bookings (those with 4 weeks or less until the date of event) are payable in full up-front in order to secure the date.
A fee will be charged for locations outside of a 10 mile travel radius of PA1 1XG. The amount charged is currently 50p per mile; this is subject to increase yearly. All costs for travel to a booked event are to be paid by client. Costs may include, but not limited to: airfare, hotel, transportation and parking.
For bookings where I am to be there for longer than 4 hours, a light snack and drinks would be much appreciated.
To secure a date for special occasions, photo-shoots or weddings, you are agreeing to the terms of this contact. Required with a 50% non refundable booking fee due at the time of booking. The booking fee is non-refundable and non-transferable even in the event of illness, pandemic, epidemic, acts of God and all other reasons. Please be advised, dates and scheduled makeup times will only be reserved when a booking fee is received and you are automatically entered into our contact.
A start and end time will be agreed by client and Nik Makeup Artist. Each makeup requires a certain length of time to be finished, the usual timeframe is approximately 45mins to 90mins per person. When reserving your date, book accordingly. Any additional makeup needs outside contract will only be performed at the discretion of the makeup artist. All persons involved in makeup appointments need to be available at the scheduled time of said appointment in order to not break the contract. All makeup for more than one person must be at the same location and consecutive times (no gaps in between).
DOUBLE BOOKING CLAUSE
Due to potential scheduling conflicts, if prior bookings change of time and or locations and it causes tardiness or inability to perform services for your booking we adhere to the FCFS (the first to have come is the first to be served) policy whereby the requests of clients are attended to in the order that they reserve their services, without other biases or preferences. Nik Makeup Artist (Makeup Artist) obligation to give services hereunder is subject to the unavailability of the Artist as a result of travel limitations, sickness, accidents, acts of God and other reasons beyond the Artist’s control.
Makeup will be completed to client’s satisfaction, but is not to exceed allotted makeup time. Ample time is given for each makeup upon booking. Acceptance of completed makeup application by client is acknowledgement by client that makeup is done to his/her satisfaction.
Trial makeup is available for services that do not include one. The additional trial makeup service is limited to 2 hours; after which you will be charged at £45/hour. Please get in touch at least 7 days in advance to reschedule a trial/booking should you not be able to attend, otherwise it will be counted as a missed appointment and the full amount will be due immediately.
Nik Makeup Artist reserves the right to terminate this contract at any time for any reason this may include - any non-compliance of terms, contract will become void and all monies given are non-refundable. This booking arrangement cannot be changed once the non refundable booking fee has been paid. If Nik Makeup Artist can no longer perform services for any reason, she will provide a recommendation for a replacement makeup artist, it is at the client’s discretion whether they go ahead with the replacement makeup artist. Client agrees it is Nik Makeup artists discretion to refund any non refundable booking fees.
If client cancels or changes date of appointment it is at Nik makeup artists discretion to move or changed dates and will be subject to availability. No refunds will be provided at any time.
SERVICE LOCATION AND REQUIREMENTS
Location of service for the day-of-event will be at the discretion of the client, but there are certain requirements the makeup artist needs to complete the makeup. A set up table/work area needs to be made available for the makeup artist at said location. Working electrical outlets must also be made available for use by the makeup artist if hair is part of the services of the booking. Ample lighting, whether by means of natural light or by lamps, is necessary for services to be performed properly. A high chair or bar stool is requested but not necessary. Please let Nicola know if a chair cannot be provided. Nik Makeup Artist will not be held liable for any injuries that should arise while on location. Remember to wear a button down shirt or dressing gown so you don’t mess up your style while getting dressed.
All brushes, tools and makeup products are kept sanitary and are sanitized between every makeup application. Any skin condition should be reported by the client to the makeup artist prior to application and, if need be, a sample test of makeup may be performed on the skin to test reaction. Client(s) agree to release the makeup artist, Nik Makeup Artist, from liability for any skin complications due to allergic reactions or any other illness after the makeup appointments.
The final balance is due on event date – no exceptions. The person(s) responsible for the entire balance of payment is the person(s) who has entered the contract by paying the non refundable booking fee. Acceptable forms of payment are bank transfer, cash and PayPal.
Any information you give us will be stored securely under any new legislation for data protection. You agree to emails, calls and Facebook messages to be sent and can opt out at any stage by sending us an email.
